Beautiful, Durable & Functional
Options for Accessibility & Inclusivity
Florida ADA Requirements
As of 2020 all commercial buildings in Florida are required to provide ADA compliant restrooms. Part of that compliance states that sinks should be mounted no higher than 34” from the floor and they should have a knee clearance of 27” high, 30” wide and 11” – 25” deep. We have several models to help make sure your space is accessible to all.
Single Units
Single unit ADA compliant concrete sinks in commercial settings are a testament to the fusion of functionality and modern design. These sinks are meticulously crafted from concrete, a material renowned for its durability and versatility, allowing them to withstand the rigors of high-traffic areas in commercial environments.
In adhering to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, these concrete sinks are designed with specific height and depth requirements to ensure accessibility for wheelchair users. Features like shallow basins for easy reach, and lever-operated or touchless faucets accommodate individuals with limited hand strength or dexterity. The aesthetic appeal of concrete, with its customizable finishes and textures, allows these sinks to blend seamlessly into a variety of decor styles, from industrial to contemporary.
Multiple Units
ADA compliant multi-unit concrete sinks in commercial settings are a remarkable blend of practicality, inclusivity, and contemporary design. These multi-basin sinks, constructed from high-quality concrete, are celebrated for their exceptional durability and the ability to withstand the intensive use common in public and commercial spaces.
In line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines, they feature design elements like appropriate heights and depths, ensuring accessibility for wheelchair users. The basins are often shallow and easily reachable, while the faucets are equipped with lever-operated or touchless mechanisms, catering to those with limited hand strength or dexterity. The concrete allows for a range of aesthetic choices, with various finishes and textures that can complement a multitude of interior styles, from sleek modern to rustic industrial.
The installation of such multi-unit concrete sinks in a commercial setting not only demonstrates a commitment to accessibility but also enhances the space with a touch of architectural sophistication, creating an environment that is both functional and visually appealing for a diverse range of users.
